Dr. Olusegun Richard Adeoyo is a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from the same University in 2006, MSc in Environmental Microbiology from University of Ibadan in 2010, and PhD in Microbiology from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa in 2018.

Dr. Odumosu is a Pharmaceutical Microbiologist with focus on antimicrobial agent and chemotherapy, genetics and drug resistance in bacteria as well as quality control of consumables and sterile pharmaceutical products. This involves bioprospecting potential antimicrobials and bioactive compounds from various biological sources (aquatic and terrestrial) and screening of pharmaceutical products essential to the public health.
